Spring Cleanup Work Day

  • Thomas Smith House 251 North West Street Feeding Hills, MA, 01030 United States (map)

Have you ever wondered what it was like to clean house in “the olden days?”

Probably not, but even so, the Agawam Historical Association can use your help.

We have a full calendar of events planned at the historic Thomas Smith House, and the property needs to be put in Bristol shape before our first event in April.

We’ll be cleaning, sweeping, dusting, polishing, raking, and whatever else needs to be done before we open to the public, and we are firm believers in the old saying, “If everybody does a little, nobody does a lot.”

You may prefer “many hands make light work.”

Either way, you get what we are trying to say.

This is an excellent opportunity to spend the morning with a great group of preservation-minded volunteers, and a chance to see a true treasure – the National-Register listed Thomas Smith House — from a new perspective.

Please B.Y.O.C.S. (bring your own cleaning supplies)

Your help will be much appreciated!
