Join us on D-Day+1 when the 82nd Airborne, 505th P.I.R., 2nd Battalion, Company D, Reenacted will hold a WWII “Bond Drive” fundraiser to benefit the Agawam Historical Association.
The grounds of the historic Thomas Smith House in Feeding Hills, Mass. will return to the 1940s with WWII era military and civilian vehicles, music, and demonstrations.
Souvenir War Bonds will be available for a donation of $5, with all proceeds aiding the Agawam Historical Association.
The historical association’s new Images of American title, Around Agawam and Feeding Hills will be available for purchase and author David Cecchi will be on hand to sign copies. The book features more than 200 historic photos depicting Agawam and Feeding Hills’ rich history. Proceeds from the sales of the book will benefit the Agawam Historical Association.
The National Register-listed Thomas Smith House and its preserved 1920s garage will also be open for tours.
